Making gyros? Don’t skip this sauce!
Ground Turkey Gyros.
Who doesn’t like the idea of tender, well-seasoned meat on a fresh, warm pita bread?
Add a zesty sauce, a few toppings, and you got yourself a real treat!
This recipe is easy, and it uses ground turkey instead of lamb.
Let’s get into it…
Fresh Lemon Meringue Pie.
Can you believe this pie only takes 15 minutes to bake?
This is a good recipe for a slightly tart, yet sweet, lemon meringue pie.
Big Blueberry Banana Muffins.
Same recipe. Bigger muffin!
I used a 6-cup muffin tin, instead of a 12-cup, and baked an additional 8-10 minutes.
Easy as Cherry Pie!
Pre-made pie crust. Check.
Canned cherries. Check.
Craving for fruit-filled pie. Double check!
It doesn’t get any easier than this. Fresh is usually best but, when the craving strikes…who has time to depit cherries?
This recipe is a winner.
By the way…
Where did the saying “easy as pie” come from? Baking great pie, from scratch, is so NOT easy. Ha!
Oven Ribs with BBQ Sauce.
Absolutely delicious.
This is pretty much a “set it & forget it” type of recipe, as these ribs are seasoned with a rub, then slow-cooked in the oven for a couple hours.
That’s right! No grilling required.
You gotta try this!
Chopped Salad.
Psst! I hear this is a Portillo’s copykat recipe.
I’ve never had Portillo’s chopped salad before. The smell of their delicious char-broiled burgers & Italian beef sandwiches, wafting (outside the restaurant doors), inherently marches my feets straight to the meat line! One day, I’ll resist. Until then, this recipe will do.
It’s so good, and very filling as a main course.
