Candela Diana Oxford.

These shoes are currently sold out but, Steve Madden has the exact same style (only, the sole isn’t leather). Check them out here, if you’re interested!

You may remember seeing these before. I’m happy I recently decided to purchase a pair. I really like oxford shoes, and I love the cut-out styling, colors and comfort of these. They fit perfectly to have a narrow width. Only minus…the leather make a lot of noise when walking.

Neon Polo Shirt, Jeans & Strapped Sandals.

Jeans and Strappy Sandals

This super bright polo shirt is old, from J.Crew. I only wore it once. Maybe twice? I’m pretty sure it was a “sales goggle” impulse buy.

The jeans are Hudson and, the sandals I got them from a store called Strawberry, like 8 years ago. If you’re in Chicago, do you remember that store? If only I knew then what I know now about shoes. I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a much better pair. I still like the color and the thin straps.

T-Shirt, Cords & Pumps.

I’m loving my “new” cords!

I found them at the Goodwill, in pristine condition, for about 5 bucks.

I was shocked that they fit, as I tried on a pair at the J.Crew store years ago. Even in the correct size they fit weird (“grabby” in the crotch/seat). Those might’ve been their Toothpick corduroys though. These are City Fit.

Find anything good at the thrift store lately?
If you’re in Chicago, how are you liking this 27 degrees in the AM, and near 60 in the PM? For this reason, Spring has to be my least favorite season.

Mint Sweater + Green Plaid Skirt. Dosey-Do Anyone?

Calf-length Tartan Skirt Style

This skirt makes me want to square-dance! Only, I don’t remember how. I just have this really vague idea of the Dosey-Do.

I found this calf-length skirt at the thrift store last year, and had it dry cleaned. It is very warm on!  I think it’s made out of that “old school” wool. It doesn’t have any tags inside, so I don’t know for sure.

After circling-around in it, I’m usually tempted to take it off. Curl up on the couch. Drape it over my legs & feet. And, take a nap. The material would be perfect for a blanket. Or, gloves. Socks too!

Too bad I love it for what it already is. A really nifty skirt.

Do you know how to square-dance?

I will be posting several more photos of my made-up, square-dance stances from this shoot on the MM Facebook page. Head on over & “Like”, if you want to see.

Plum Turtleneck Dress & Duck Boots.

I almost regret buying this turtleneck dress.

The color is what tricked me! I absolutely love it but, I don’t like the empire waist. And it really bothers me how tight the neck is. When I bought it, I thought the neck would easily stretch after a tumble or two in the laundry. Nope! I’ve pulled & stretched it, but it doesn’t budge much. I will probably end up cutting it. Either a slit down the side, or completely off. As for the waist…I tried belting it, and it looked funny.

The shirt underneath brought me a bit of breathing room. And, contrast.

Are you too funny about turtlenecks?

I don’t like “feeling” them around my neck. When I think about it touching me, I feel ticklish & irritated. Still, I love how cozy they are. I just need a nice circumference of space between my neck & the fabric.
