A few of you have expressed interest in seeing more thrift store hauls. I’m happy to post when I’ve gone and have some finds to share. Thanks for asking!
I absolutely love this old thing.
The brand is Ralfeaux and it was made in British Hong Kong.
I think it might be a “man bag”, from like the 70’s. Like something Arnold from Different Strokes would wear. Lol I don’t know. What do you think?
It was dusty and in need of a deep clean when I found it, but the zippers, leather and structure of this bag sold me. Plus, the $1.50 price tag.
It has 2 sides, 3 separate compartments. Each with it’s own YKK zipper.
The structure is a nice change because, I can see everything inside the bag without having to push folds of leather/purse fabric out the way.
I doubt this “doctor’s duffle” is leather (there were no label tags inside to tell) but, the metal zippers got me again.
I’ve carried it around a couple times and it’s annoying to wear over the shoulder. The straps keep gliding down, because of the slick surface. Boo.
I like the rich cognac color and the multiple compartments though.
Both of these bags are small-ish in size. About the size of a sheet of paper.
Find anything good at the thrift store lately?
