On a my last visit to the thrift store, I purchased a bunch of dresses & skirts.
If you missed my tips on “Finding the Good Stuff at Thrift Stores”, check them out here!
I’m loving these skirt finds.

#1. No ironing necessary! Awesome. I also really like the way this skirt moves, on. It still had the original store tags on it. From Marshalls, by West 27th Street.

#2. My pencil skirt collection (…Does 5 skirts make a collection?) has been in dire need of a black one. I found two good ones, but left the Salvation Army with just the one. The other didn’t have a price tag on it. Boo! I thought to ask the cashier to price it, but didn’t. What do you do when that happens? This skirt’s by, Savannah.

#3. I already have a navy pencil skirt. But. It’s wool & short. This one extends a bit longer (& oddly lends me a little hip shape). It’s also 100% cotton. So, I can wear it comfortably in the spring/early summer months. I was drawn to the texture of it too. It’s lined on the inside so, it’s not scratchy against the skin. No brand label/tag. Merely material.

#4. I’m in love with this skirt! The tartan makes it classic. But, the triangular fringed bottom makes it pretty unique. Odd length on the leg. If the inseam came to my knees…it’d be perfect. Still…I’m wearing this one. It’s extremely warm. I’m certain it’s 100% wool. No brand label, or material tags inside. I wish I knew who made this!
What’s “new” in your closet?

Love them all, especially the plaid! Nothing new in my closet. I’m trying to not buy any new clothes for a while, but instead make some fun new combinations with what I have.
Thanks! And, I think that’s an awesome idea.
Those are very nice finds that all look great on you! Nice job.
Thank you!
I love the plaid and have to give it up for that fringe! *sweet*
LOL Thanks Chandra!
