Going for 2 days, you say? Well…me thinks I need 4 pairs of shoes!
A cute pair of loafers, for casual walking. Gym shoes, in case we do a lot of walking. And boots. Because, what if it snows?! Kidding. But, really. The weather app says there’s a 40% chance of rain. 47 degrees. AND, there’s a graphic showing grayish wind! I don’t want cold, wet feets! Better pack a pair of leg warmers too. Oh! Dinner at a “fancy-smancy” restaurant? I can’t leave behind my leopard print pumps!
Great. Now my over-night bag is full, and I haven’t even packed my toothbrush.
• I just love the highway state “Welcome” signage.
• There’s something romantic about driving long distances with your sweets.
Even long silences are nice. Soothing.
You’re making me want to get on the road right this minute. And I also finally picked up a pair of leopard print shoes- booties though….pumps next.
