Let’s talk Hair…
Right now, it’s summer. And it has been super HOT here! So, I’m enjoying the ease & coolness of wash & go’s. I can’t even think about doing anything else right now. It’s just too hot!…
“Oh, It’s too hot, too hot, too hot ladies…gotta run for shelter…gotta run for shade!” LOL
I couldn’t help myself. 
I’m still loving my cut! And at first chance of cooling temperatures, I look forward to flat-ironing it. I’ve been waiting to play with some “straight” styles, since I first got it buzzed. Just haven’t had the opportunity yet.

So…what’s up with your hair? How are you styling it this summer? Do you have any tips or tricks for dealing with your hair in hot weather?
Kinky twists is what I’m wearing this summer.. it’s soooo hot here in Arkansas and don’t even mention the humidity..

I still haven’t figured that out yet. I flat ironed it last week and still going strong

Yes my hair is natural, a little over a year. I used a flat iron and Dudley’s Creme Press. Hair is still pressed, but I may put twists in.

I put mini twists in on Wednesday, so my plan is mini twists in a bun until it stops being 100+ degrees lol
Mini twists sound nice!
I tried them once, but couldn’t keep them in longer than a couple days.
I’m been twisting my hair weekly and wearing a twist out/puff for about two days out of the week. My mom is transitioning and is sporting a cute roller-set fro, so I can’t wait to email her your transitioning post!

Wearing my hair in a ‘fro, pulled back more of the time, easy peasy, can’t deal with the heat. Also, I’m making a curly hair wig just for fun!
I hear ya! Easy peasy is my favorite.
Twisted my hair last Sunday. I intend to keep them in for 3 weeks. I can’t be bothered right now, hehe.

Your hair looks Fab! I can’t wash and go…wish I coil but it comes out horrible. I’m planning on getting braids for a month or so

Marrriiiiie!!! I Big Chopped a couple days ago! …or as nitpickers would say, I cut off the remaining relaxed ends! I was 3 months short of being 2 years post relaxer and I was quite tired of the dry, tangle-proned straight ends, so I finally just cut it! I have to say that I absolutely LOVE it! Braid-outs were my ‘thing’ while transitioning, but for the last few days, I’ve been loving twist-outs! Eeek! I’m so excited!

I’ve been wearing braided or twisted updos because it keeps hair off my neck. But this weekend I’ve been wearing a twist out. I’m pretty sure I saw you yesterday at my favorite Italian ice place in the suburbs. What a coincidence
