- Husband is gearing up to run the Chicago Marathon again. This means that I need to compile some new recipes that are majorly veggie/protein/carb based. It’s difficult, as we LOVE comfort foods! Just yesterday, I made this baked dish with sauteed broccoli, potatoes, & onion…fresh, crumbled bacon sprinkled on top, and then an added layer of creamy, homemade, cheddar-jack sauce. Y-E-S. It was so delicious, but such comfort isn’t ideal right now (& for the next 5 months)
I need to purchase a wok, to whip up some stir-fry dishes…& then discover some delicious sauces that aren’t soy sauce, or cream based. I’m not a big pesto, or tomato sauce fan either, so…where does that leave us?!… - I haven’t been riding my bike as often as I thought I would, this Spring. Honestly, I’m still a bit terrified of plummeting to my death. #dramatic
Husband says I overcompensate when my balance starts to veer to one side. He promises that my body will “auto-correct” this, as it doesn’t want to fall, and the bike (when in motion) also wants to remain upright. I don’t know why this is so hard for me to believe. I need figure out a way to conjure this confidence. - Thanks for all the feedback on this post
I really appreciate hearing your thoughts on the subject, as well as, all the encouraging words & nice compliments. Sometimes I wish there was a honest, success-proven guide for lifestyle/personal blogging, professionally! I’m still weighing the pros & cons of combining MM with my offline professional career, but leaning towards taking the leap. I stand behind everything that I do online, and virtually everybody I know, already knows that I blog here & are supportive…so…yeah…I’m excited & anxious.
…& nervous. - I want some new earrings. These would really set off my new hair cut.
What randoms are currently on your mind?

Beautiful earrings. So into this trend also.

1) Teriyaki is good for stir fry! Or you can experiment with the sauces in the condiments aisle at the supermarket.
2) Go bike riding in a low traffic place and get your confidence back!
3) Ultimately, do what you feel is right. I’m sorry if I offended you in the comment I left on facebook regarding this. I kind of felt bad after I wrote it. I know blogging is not just a hobby for most people. I’m sorry, Marie. :-\
No worries Jhan, I asked for feedback
Will probably do teriyaki tonight, thanks for the suggestion!
