My sister put me on to Ghirardelli Chocolate Caramel Turtle Brownie mix, and now I can’t stop buying the boxes. They are so good, especially paired with Celestial Seasonings, Raspberry Zinger tea!

I’ll be honest…the first sip of this tea immediately reminded me of cough syrup…and yet, the next sip didn’t. The third sip had me hooked!
Strange.
In the spirit of my “taking it easy/going with the flow” last week, I switched my daily afternoon coffee “pick-me-ups”, for tea. When I really thought about it, all I really desired was a hot drink.
Having no additional caffeine from that drink meant relaxing would come a bit easier, and bedtime a bit earlier. It was & it did. By about 10:30 (versus the usual “some-time-past-midnight”)…my eyelids were droopy.
There was a 2 for $5 sale on Celestial Seasonings tea, so I bought Raspberry Zinger and True Blueberry (the blueberry also came highly recommended by my sisters…they also suggested Peach). Peach wasn’t on sale.
I love the Raspberry; tart & berry flavorful
I let it steep for 5 minutes, then sweeten my cup with honey.
Blueberry was good too. I was surprised at how dead on it is; true blueberry flavor indeed! I mean, can you imagine trying to capture that essence…I can’t even describe that blueberries taste like.
So…back to these brownies…
They are so quick & fun to make (you get to drizzle & swirl the caramel topping!). The box only calls for 3 other ingredients: egg, oil & water. Easy!

The challenge comes in “patiently” waiting for the pan to cool

I still believe in the “homemade fresh, is best” notion, but these are very, very good; especially if you’re in a hurry, or just don’t feel like making brownies from scratch.
For a perfect afternoon, or any time, “pick-me-up”…try them with a cup of Raspberry tea!
Have you tried Ghirardelli brownies?
Drink Celestial Seasonings tea…what’s your favorite flavor?

I have not tried these brownies and you’re making it awfully hard not to run out and buy them right now! LOL. Love those teas–I’m a new tea drinker and have been experimenting with many different flavors. .today’s tea is Dragon Eye Oolong tea, I will let you know how it tastes!
That tea sounds fancy! LOL How was it?!
The tea was pretty good–it had a fruity taste to it. It’s made by Revolution.
Cool beans! Thanks for responding

I’ve never tried them, but I love Ghirardelli chocolates so I’m sure they are delicious!
