I usually use leave-in conditioner to style my wash & go hair.
And by “style” I mean, gently raking the product through with my fingers & letting it air dry.
I used Jane Carter Leave-in in these photos after shampooing & deep conditioning, but occasionally I’ll use Giovanni Direct Leave-in Conditioner, or Kinky Curly Leave-in.
For next day wash & go hair, I mist my hair with hot water, and use my fingers to fluff out my roots.
The following day after that, I sometimes spray the Jane Carter Leave-in instead of the water.
To really “style” my wash & go hair, I like to section off the hair at the crown & make a few twists there. After my hair dries, I unravel the twists & fluff the roots using my fingers (or hair pick) to blend that section in with the rest of my “true wash & go” hair. This give me added height & shape. I like it a lot!
Photo tutorial on the way…
When I’m really feeling up to it, I’ll do a complete twist out.
I think I have photos of that as well! Stay tuned
