I miss this. Making bread…eating “this” kind of bread.
Homemade. Fresh out the oven, with butter.
And, annnd because it’s “sweet bread”, I couldn’t help but to drizzle honey on top of my slice.
I used some left over dough (that was frozen, and thawed for a couple days in the refrigerator) from this Sticky Bun recipe.
Cut it in 5 equal pieces, then hand rolled each piece into a 13-14 inch, semi-smooth strand. Pinched the very end of each strand together.
Followed this fun & easy braiding technique.
Let the braided dough rise for about 2 hours.
Baked in a 375 degree oven for 25-27 minutes.
Once this came out my parents oven,
I sliced and shared it with family:)
There was not a piece left.
