Delicious, easy breakfast on a hot/humid morning…great if you have no yogurt on-hand, or if you want a dairy-free smoothie!
Here is the Recipe: (adapted from food.com, by mersaydees)
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, or 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
3/4 cup ice
a splash or 2 of orange juice
• Toss it all in a blender
• Blend until smooth
Marie’s Tip: If the strawberries are frozen…crush them with the ice (if your blender has an ice crushing setting) before adding the banana & OJ. This will prevent frozen chunks from clogging your straw.
My favorite smoothie is the “Orange-a-peel” from Jamba Juice. Gotta get that recipe….
